Katatonia have been confirmed to cast a shadow over the summer sun on Juli 31st between 13.55-14.25 on the Bohemia stage at UK’s Sonisphere festival.

The two main support acts for the ‘New Night Over America’ tour 2010 has been confirmed. We will once again team up with our hard working friends in Swallow The Sun from Finland, but also head out together for the first time with Orphaned Land, the long going sensation from Israel.

On many dates we will offer special VIP meet-and-greet tickets. All VIP ticket holders will be admitted to the venue one hour before door time and will get a custom-made poster from the venue signed by the band.

Tickets are on sale exclusively through EnterTheVault.com until May 1st at which point they will be made available through all regular ticketing systems.

Unfortunately we must announce that we’ve been forced to cancel tomorrow’s concert that should have taken place at Hristo botev hall in Sofia, Bulgaria. The promoter is in breach of contract as he hasn’t managed to pre-organize the flights or payments clearly agreed in the mutually agreed terms despite many conversations and reminders. Katatonia with crew were very much looking forward visiting Bulgaria for the first time and although the full blame for this lay in the hands of the promoter, we’d still like to extend our sincere apologizes for the disillusion this caused our bulgarian fans. Hopefully, we can reschedule a bulgarian gig for the future, but right now we can not risk the remainder of the concerts in the next days to be affected by obstacles caused by unprofessional promoters, so we’re now moving on directly to Greece and look forward to another round of fantastic gigs. Thanks for your understanding!

The Berlin show at Lido tonight is sold out!

We’ve also recieved information from the promoters that also the next five following German shows are just about to sell out, so if you’re planning on coming to any of these gigs make sure you get hold of tickets in advance and not at the door to guarantee an entry.

The tour has been a fantastic success so far with many sold out shows and fantastic evenings and we only have three last shows together with Swallow the Sun and and five with Long Distance Calling before we head off on our own to Bulgaria, Greece, Israel and finally Russia.
