It is with great regret that Katatonia are forced to cancel their September 9th appearance at the Unirock Festival in Istanbul, Turkey. Due to a conflict with the festival’s promoter who were not able to fulfil their contractual obligations, our agent and management decided to pull out as we can’t afford to risk financial loss.

We hereby apologize to any fans who were expecting us to appear and we’ll do our absolute best to schedule a new tour date for Turkey in the near future.

Katatonia have been confirmed to play Lebanon for the first time. The event will take place at the Roman Amphitheatre in the city Zouk Mikael on September 3rd. Tickets available here.

The 7th and the last show of the 20th anniversary North American tour has now been confirmed to take place at The Exchange, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada on October 9th. Tickets to all 20th anniversary shows can be found HERE.

Yes, that’s right folks! You might remember we pulled off the ‘Last Fair Day Gone Night’ tour in Europe earlier this spring to celebrate our 20th anniversary? Well, since the year ain’t over yet we figured we’d give you a special treat and extend this tour by taking it across the pond. This means that all 6 of our headlining sideshows (on the upcoming tour with Opeth in the fall) will consist of a long double set where we’ll play you the ‘Last Fair Deal Gone Down’ album in it’s entirety followed by a “best of” surprise set.

Katatonia are confirmed to headline Madrid Is The Dark III and will close the two-day festival on December 10th. This will be our one and only exclusive show in Spain for 2011.

Katatonia are confirmed as special guests on Opeth’s North American ‘Heritage’ tour that runs from September till November. Katatonia last toured together with Opeth in Europe, 2001, supporting their ‘Blackwater Park’ tour. Now 10 years later down the road, the time has come to do it again! But that’s not all, Katatonia will also head out on a Canadian headliner tour one week before the ‘Heritage’ tour starts. This trek will cover both familiar and unvisited territories. Furthermore, we will also add a bunch of headlining sideshows in the US throughout the tour, so keep checking back in for more details on those. Ticket links to the shows will be posted on Friday.

Due to critical economical situation and logistical issues the Bucharest show is now postponed. Information about the new venue and tickets will be available during the next week. The tickets already purchased are still available for the new to be announced date, we strongly advise fans to keep their tickets or to return them if they do not want to wait the announcement for the postponed date.  Sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused.

Katatonia has been confirmed to play Barco Rock Fest in Portugal this summer. We have nothing but good memories from all our previous visits to this country so we’re happy to see ya’ll again on August 27th!

For the first time ever we’ll be visiting Bulgaria at the Kavarna Rock Fest on July 15th. We’ll also be returning to two festivals we played a couple of years ago – Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, Germany on June 12th and Brutal Assault in Jaromer, Czech Republic on August 12th.
