For those unaware, two of Katatonia’s guitars were stolen during the St. Paul gig several days ago. Thankfully, the band has some good news to report from the road today:

The police reported today that the guitars have been turned in. We wont get into the murky ugly details right now as the priority was and is that we get them back on the road for our shows and then onto the competition winners, so lets celebrate that for now while the police continue to do their job. So…. Vancouver for the first time tonight, who’s with us?

You may have noticed the show announcements for the club show in Linköping, Sweden and for the Ålborg Metal Fest in Denmark and we wanted to make you aware that more Scandinavian shows will be announced soon. We can’t give out any details just yet, but keep an eye out for this as news is soon to come.

Katatonia have been confirmed to appear at the Aalborg metal festival in Denmark on November 6th.

Our New Night Over America tour starts tonight in Baltimore. As previously mentioned, we’ll be joined by Swallow the Sun from Finland and Orphaned Land from Israel.
