Katatonia have been nominated for a Manifest Award held by the Swedish Independent Musicproducers. The ceremony will take place on January 29 at Nalen in Stockholm.

The nominees in the ‘Best Hard Rock/Metal’ category are:

• Abandon – The Dead End (Blackstarfoundation)
• Candlemass – Death Magic Doom (Nuclear Blast)
• Katatonia – Night Is The New Day (Peaceville)
• Tribulation – The Horror (Pulverised)

The winner will be decided by a jury consisting of Bella Stenberg (Journalist, lecturer), Linnéa Olsson (writer, reviewer), David Noaksson (music journalist), Marcus Grahn (journalist, author) and Larsa Carlsson (editor Slavestate, writer, DJ).
